C++ Workshop Semester 2 2025

We have just announced the first C++ Workshop for Semester 2 of 2025!
Taking place in Week 5, this workshop will focus on explaining the basics to novice to intermediate programmers. This workshop is hosted by the Swinux President, Dylan, who has industry experience with C++. Previous coding experience is recommended, although not neccessary to attend and learn more about programming. The workshop will conduct the following:
- The Basics of C++
- Object Orientate Programming
- Memory Management
- Data Structure
- Template Meta-Programming (Advanced)
The workshop will have time for networking before the workshop to get comfortable. A short presentation will be given explaining the core concepts of programming in C++, including a short history of the language. During this time, feel free to seek clarification in setting up or with any questions you may have.
The workshop will cover the basic concepts of C++, implementing several key features of the language. Afterwards, a more advanced workshop will be held for intermediate programmers. Be sure to attend ATC101 on Thursday the 4th of September @ 1:30pm for the full experience!
